Cortijo y Su Combo Original Con Ismael Rivera : "Juntos Otra Vez" A series curated by DJ Le Spam Analog Master Sessions is a deep listening series curated by Dj Le Spam, presenting some of the most unique studio recordings on professional studio format analog tape machines. 1/4" and 1/2" inch tape running at 15 or 30 inches per second were the most common formats for LP mastering from the 1950s until the early 2000s. They represent the highest quality of analog recording and surpass what is possible to achieve with a vinyl record. “This month we are honored to present one of the most important salsa albums of the 1970's Cortijo y Su Combo Original Con Ismael Rivera: "Juntos Otra Vez". The session is a reunion of members of Cortijo's original Combo from the early 1960's, including Roberto Roena, Rafael Ithier, Andy Montañez, and much of the El Gran Combo lineup. Recorded by Irv Greenbaum, produced by Harvey Averne. Released in 1974.
