Few people know that DJ Electron was found as a baby in the bottom of a crater left by the largest lightning bolt recorded in Long Island history. On Saturday, November 5, we celebrate 31 years since that day. Gigi France (of B2G) Gigi moved to New York City upon graduating engineering school, which is probably where she picked up her love of mechanical, driving bass lines. She provides the dance floor with an array of genres from electronic to punk with a particular bias toward anything that has a sexy female vocal over a heavy bass synth. She is a member of B2G where she organizes and DJs parties alongside longtime pal Bo McGinniss and has also played at clubs across the city. He decided to start DJing after a quasi-religious experience spending 3 nonstop days in James Murphy and 2manydj’s Despacio tent at Coachella in 2016. While he leans on a disco base with electro and house mixed in, anything from Frank Sinatra to Charli XCX has been known to slip into his sets.
