Circuit & Deep Dive Presents: Funk E (RO)

Circuit and Deep Dive have teamed up to bring a series of events to Washington DC focused on showcasing underground house music producers and DJ's from across the globe. For our first event, we are excited to have the maestro himself, Funk E for his DC debut. Funk E has been bringing his bassline driven grooves, stripped back beats, and late night energy to venues since the early 2000's as a resident of Ibiza's Zoo Project and a mainstay throughout Romania's house scene. While his sound can be loosely described as 'minimal', Funk E's production and selection are so much more than that, intertwining various flavors of rare house music into truly timeless sound. His recent sets at Platforma Wolff and Gradina Monteoru in Bucharest alongside SIT, cap, and Sublee had a packed dance floor and we can't wait to see what he brings to DC. This is a rare opportunity to catch Funk E in the US, with stops in NY, Detroit, and a return to the iconic You Know What party in LA. He will be joined by Circuit residents Jandro and Viny warming up the dance floor with a stack of fresh records and newly produced edits. Deep Dive resident Ramos will close the night out with a deep selection of raw late night belters. You won't want to miss this special night.
