DRAFT001 - SUGAR FOR ALL (Lisbon Edition)

« On the survival of independent international publications and more generally on sustaining visibility for emerging artists: the importance of solidarity as a resistance tool. » After almost 2 years gravitating around Lisbon art and fashion underground scene, it is time for Draft001 collective to join forces with some of the brightest talents of the city for a launch event. Gathering a strong creative ecosystem in constant need for visibility, Draft001 wants to celebrate the variety of visions and voices they got to witness in the ever-surprising capital. And as it is almost impossible to not include brazilian art scene when we talk about Lisbon - and as a first time experiment - we decided to invite another independant publication from São Paulo to invest the second room and present their work: Fort Magazine. By doing so, Draft001 states that solidarity between practices are essential for survivance. We need to break this idea that we are all in competition and start building up bridges and network between entities to share knowledge, help and support each other on the almost impossible journey that is independency. ✭ ✭ SUGAR FOR ALL, DRAFT001 LAUNCH EVENT, LISBON EDITION ✭ ✭ ✭ DATES & TIMINGS Opening: Saturday, May 6th, 2023 from 6pm on.
