GO A LISBOA the green rooftop oasis is launching its indoor Go a Pop Up Supper Club - just below the rooftop in Calcada do Livramento 17. The space can accommodate easily 100 people for dinner, 20 seated around a squared marble bar. It has space for up to 300 to party and dance on the newly designed club space for which some walls were removed, uniting the previously separated 2 rooms. The kitchen team around chef Inga Martin was busy not only creating a new, totally different menu for downstairs with a focus on smaller portions to enjoy multiple delights such as scallops, tiger prawns or carabineros, but also launched a new seasonal menu for the rooftop recently with expanded vegan vegetarian options. Wednesday's DJ is Mayan; Mayan is a Portuguese DJ and music producer. Influenced by her Lisbon upbringing amongst musicians and by the variety of music she absorbed, her sets take her audience on a journey through an array of emotions. She blends vibes that travel from Jazz via House to Acid and Techno grooves, with Trance elements into one eclectic trip, so that everyone feels moved to dance, regardless of age, origin or creed, creating an experience that build new and warm relations between people. For her, life has always been about creating connections through music: from her earliest days, growing up in Lisbon with musicians all around, she had the fortune to experience the deep bond that music can create. So to this day, her desire for sharing music is fueled by the wish to connect. Bandcamp independent artist, in April 2021 she won the FM Radio Oxigénio DJ contest. With a history of gigs all over Portugal, and a ground base with the most iconic dancefloors of Lisbon, she starts getting international attention, supporting acts like Guy Gerber or Oskar Offermann (in Vienna), Acid Arab & Pantha du Prince at Boom Festival, Jorge Caiado, record labels like Fuse (Portugal), Chevry Agency (France) or Lacuna Records (UK). She is constantly and proactively building and looking out for joint projects with national and international artists, leading to inspiring collaborations between like-minded DJs. Every month, she hosts a radio show on Lusophonica, where she invites artists, producers or DJs to talk about their inspirations and musical stories.
