Harekat: NYC x MIA Rash Fundraiser

Harekat presents a night of multifaceted artists and friends who are coming together to bring you Miami and New York heat. Expect an evening of electro, techno, deconstructed club, afro beats and Miami bass. All proceeds will benefit the Rash Club mutual aid fund!! Artists: Winter Wrong aka Summer Wright - Producer/DJ/Vocalist Winter has a passion for movement and emotions. They always used music to transcend the natural human connection to oneself and others, whether it's through their words and melodies or even an instrumental track. Emotions are a constant factor, with styles ranging from Techno to Pop, Winter Wrong is mainly influenced by her surroundings. When she commands the dancefloor, her focus is on movement, groove and nostalgia. The goal is to create a safe space for everyone to feel welcome and free to come as their most authentic self. Bringing these sounds to lineups including 999999999, Julia Gover, Anetha, Mall Grab, Bloody Mary, Dj Tool, Loka and more. Moving forward she hopes to influence electronic music culture with more fusions of techno, pop, electro, and deconstructed club - bringing together all her inspirations. ----------------------------------------------------- Lengua On a mission to elevate Miami's electronic music culture & community, Charlie (aka Lengua as he is better known) is a rising selector and event organizer in the scene. The influence of Latin/Afro beats and Miami Bass are obvious with his blend of percussion heavy tracks combined with rump shaking dancefloor hits. In an effort to break away from the city's dominate club & VIP culture, him and his best friends joined forces in curating ANNEX: a collective focused on providing platform to Miami-based talent in a proper warehouse setting free of ego, large price tags and discrimination. Most weekends he can be found behind the decks at underground haven, The Boombox, or on the dancefloor of a rave near you. ----------------------------------------------------- Arvin T A name that's familiar to all who have attended Harekat (or some of the popular memes he creates). The founder of the monthly event - his sounds range from industrial, ebm, techno, electro and italo. His passion for curating a journey and making sure the dancefloor is consistently moving to his high energy selections is a breath of fresh air in the music scene. ----------------------------------------------------- DJ No Cover A newcomer to the DJ world, DJ No Cover (Dan) has an incredible knowledge of music, specifically in dark disco and electro selections. Expect great things as he opens up the floor for our evening. Donations are $5 minimum, with a sliding scale. Please pay what you are comfortable with. Come early, leave late. <3
