Description
Reminiscent of the sound systems of the past that paved the way for music culture as we know it, Remote Viewing (ESP) is debuting their 4-point Klipschorn hi-fidelity sound system for the dancefloor. Catch a proper dancefloor recharge by way of ambient/world/avant/downtempo/etc featuring vintage Altec loudspeakers with custom EM/IA amplification in the chill out room – an ode to the 90’s late night music culture – sonically curated by ESP’s own Zach Cowie. Toshiya Kawasaki Founder of the Japanese left field house label Mule Musiq as well as the brains behind the renowned Studio Mule hifi bar in Tokyo, Toshiya Kawasaki joins us for a special showcase of what makes Mule Musiq one of the most inimitable international music labels. Soos Having recently joined the impressive roster of artists on Mule Musiq (DJ Sprinkles, Optimo, Kuniyuki, DJ Koze to name a few) with his new EP Mundo Cute as well as having wrapped up a tour in Europe, the Mexico City mainstay returns to Denver to close out the evening with his hard to pin down yet easy to groove to sound that has made him the in-demand international DJ he is today. Zach Cowie Emmy-nominated music supervisor and ESP resident DJ/sound dude Zach Cowie will be on sonic guide duties over in the chill out room. With a background (Subpop, Light In The Attic, Touch & Go, Drag City, Rhino/Warner Bros) almost as deep as his music collection, expect the unexpected. Nico Tobón On warmup duties is Safe Sound and Weird Touch member Nico Tobón. Expect warm, dubby and tripped out groovers to set the tone for the evening.
