No Sleep is back with a bang on 12/16 in a new underground space featuring two heavy hitters of techno, STE-VÍ and Miz Andromeda. Hailing from Cork, Ireland and now based in Brooklyn, STE-VÍ will be making his Boston debut with us as headliner, after an opening from Miz Andromeda - a familiar face in the New England electronic scene. While each of these two certainly have defined styles of their own, one clear commonality between them is the high energy nature of their sets - and energy is what this night will be all about. His finely tuned sets captivate the city, establishing him as a notable figure in the electronic music scene. STE-VÍ draws inspiration from the late ‘90s and early ‘00s techno era, infused with modern groove. His style Incorporates a fast-paced blend of loops, percussion, and rhythm to create an innovative sound uniquely his own. Hailing from Cork, Ireland, STE-VÍ began his career by performing alongside his brother at underground parties, leading to their collaboration as "The Hanley Brothers" at clubs and festivals across Ireland. Now based in the US, he's performing solo at well-renowned venues in New York, sharing the stage with industry heavyweights. STE-VÍ also takes the helm at Solace Rytm, an event collective that reflects his music style. Solace Rytm is a growing party in New York that regularly hosts like-minded artists with a collective mission of "spreading the gospel of rhythm & groove" throughout NYC’s electronic music community. -- BIO - MIZ ANDROMEDA Since 2009, Miz Andromeda has showcased her versatility as a DJ, seamlessly transitioning between genres such as funky house, UK hardcore, gabber, and terror. However, she has truly found her calling within the realm of techno. With a fierce energy and an otherworldly presence, Miz Andromeda brings a unique astral sound experience to the dance floor, exploring various styles of techno including Jacking, Raw, Hypnotic, Dark, Acid, Hard, and Schranz. Her musical inspirations stem from esteemed artists such as Ben Sims, DJ Agent Orange, Marcal, ANNĒ, Truncate, Coyu, Fernanda Martins, and many others. Throughout her career, Miz Andromeda's talents have been recognized by local influencers, leading her to become a part of several collectives including Vitus (NYC) and Tightgroove (NH). She is also an organizer and a well- known resident artist of Juiced/Parasomia from CT. Miz Andromeda's extraterrestrial spirit has graced numerous events with influencers such as; Joey Beltram, D-Unity, Dave Clarke, Agent Orange and many more. When Miz Andromeda takes the stage, she brings a galactic and transcending energy to her sets. Her eclectic range of techno takes listeners on a journey that transcends time and space, dissolving boundaries on the dance floor.
