OnlyFemmes: That's Deep

OnlyFemmes is a femme-led collective throwing parties that feature up-and-coming women and non-binary DJs in New York City. This time, we're back at TBA Brooklyn for another session of That's Deep: a night of groovy, immersive deep house, deep tech, and minimal sounds. If you were at our last TBA party, you know this is one not to miss! Plus, we're bringing some fresh faces into the OnlyFemmes fold: expert crate-digger and scene staple Camilla, up-and-coming producer Alice.km visiting from AZ, and local fave Daybreak blessing us with a rare deep house set. Meet the femmes: Camilla's love for sound and sense of community deeply engaged her in the vibrant scenes of cities like Turin, Lisbon, Boston, and particularly New York and Brooklyn, where she currently resides. Oscillating between classic old-school records and the newest sounds, her sets tend to be spacey and acid-heavy, leaning into bass-driven, uplifting beats when the time is right. In 2021, she launched Encrypted, her first series of events in New York, quickly gaining recognition for its unique atmosphere and international musical talent selections. Thanks to her unwavering dedication to her craft, Camilla continues to inspire music enthusiasts worldwide with her ever-evolving creativity, unique energy, and cosmopolitan spirit. alice.km is a DJ, producer, songwriter and event curator who trusts her instincts. They got her started on the decks, defined her ethereal production style, and have guided her around the US doing what has only ever felt like a need: playing music. Not long after her first DJ gig in Brooklyn in 2016, she was playing at major NYC venues like Elsewhere and The Rosewood Theater. She then began organizing West Coast tours, stopping at legendary spaces like Avalon Hollywood and celebrated festivals like Serenity Gathering. After starting to produce in 2020 when the pandemic hit, she has now signed to labels like IAMHER, Lots of Practice, and Delusional Records, crafting her unique sound that paints pictures as well as it induces dance moves. Brooklyn-based J.N.R. grounds her obsession with discovering new sounds in 15 years of classical training and deep respect for club culture. In addition to mixing, she runs the OnlyFemmes collective, throwing parties that feature up-and-coming women and non-binary DJs. You never know what you're gonna get with a J.N.R. set: groovy house, energetic UKG, spacey rollers and wobbly bass are all on the table. Whatever the vibe, she'll make you move. Daybreak is a multi-hyphenate Art Director and DJ based in Brooklyn. Previously based out of Shanghai, she held a weekly residency at Crave Lounge exploring the depths and realms of deep house. Still with deep international roots, she’s made a name for herself as a rising artist with debuts and radio show features in Shanghai, Beijing, Phnom Penh, Tokyo and NYC.
