Passing By Lisbon is pleased to announce another incredible guest from Italy passing by our favourite city Lisbon. The Lumens are Luca Doobie and Mech, promoters and djs from Milano who reflect in their music the city's renewed mood: arty, frantic and futuristic. Driven by solid grooves and spiky sound design, their blend of electronic house and minimalist techno allowed them to reach an uncompromised vibe in a short time. The duo started as promoters and djs of the Electronic Barbecue open-air party in the summer of 2017, then took on the Phoenix Room night at Plastic and Dude Club, followed by a partnership with Pennyroyal Aftertea: three parties that quickly became synonymous with quality music and empathic atmosphere in Milan's nightlife. They simultaneously researched and developed new sounds to play alongside their slate of respected international guests such as Oshana, Diego Krause, Ada Kaleh, Vinyl Speed Adust, iO(Mulen), Rossko, Monika Ross, Julien Sandre and Mennie, Jonny N Travis, Bosconi Showcase, Ray Okpara, Christian Burkhardt, and more. The Lumens recently lit up the floor in the club culture mecca of Berlin with a four-hour set at Hoppetosse. They are busy in the studio polishing their first pack of tracks; their typical attitude and enthusiasm, coupled with an intense workflow, will manifest in a bounce of eclectic cuts.
