Fernanda Abreu began her career with the band Blitz in the 1980s, a huge sensation that sold out stadiums throughout Brazil, including a historic show at the first edition of Rock in Rio in 1985. Abreu then left the band and embarked on a highly successful solo career, releasing classic albums such as Da Lata (1995), Entidade Urbana (2000), Na Paz (2004), and Amor Geral (2016).
Always innovative, curious, eclectic, and demanding in her productions, Fernanda Abreu is considered the mother of modern Brazilian pop and dance music, a pioneer in the fusion of Brazilian rhythms such as samba and Carioca funk along with dance, hip-hop, and electronic genres. Besides being a major influence on recent artists like Anitta, Ludmilla, and Luísa Sonza, Fernanda Abreu remains more active and relevant than ever with her new projects. Her acclaimed new show highlights all of her greatest hits such as “Rio 40 Graus,” “Kátia Flávia, a Godiva do Irajá,” “Garota Carioca,” “Tambor,” and many more. Fernanda Abreu’s concert is a sensational dance party!
