5 Horses is the folk-rock project of Marc Verwaerde, a songwriter driven by a deep search for truth and sincerity. His music is both introspective and radiant, grounded in trusted artistic relationships. He is joined by longtime collaborators Jérôme Gras (multi-instrumentalist), Clément Febvre (drums), and Olivier Legall (guitar). A turning point came with his encounter with Yann Arnaud (<a href="spotify:artist:1P6U1dCeHxPui5pIrGmndZ" data-name="Air">Air</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4kDmwaDsfY9hcvz7K0otLJ" data-name="Syd Matters">Syd Matters</a>), who produced the new album Try and Succeed at the legendary Melodium Studio. The project is supported by French indie label ROY Music. The story became transatlantic with Brazilian producer <a href="spotify:artist:5NslOaAzwiiyBpEASSUzkA" data-name="batata boy">batata boy</a>, who introduced Marc to rising indie artist <a href="spotify:artist:6wUEejDd6aQJtchKP5c7Q0" data-name="Bruno Berle">Bruno Berle</a>. Together they recorded the poetic and playful single You Are a Tree. Through heartfelt songwriting, Marc Verwaerde invites listeners to connect deeply with themselves and the world.
