Balthazar is a resident & host at Refuge Worldwide, a core member of coppi, part of the Houseum Records fam, and a close friend of Frappé Records. This Frenchman, who has been living in Berlin for 10 years is known for his broad musical spectrum, a solar energy, and his wide-ranging record collection, always attuned to the groove and keeping the dancefloor moving. Refuge Worldwide is a radio station, educational platform, and event series operating across two locations in Berlin-Neukölln. coppi is a weekly community session held in a warehouse space in East Berlin, accessible to members only. Every Thursday, it hosts four artists in its studio and organises a monthly klubnacht. These projects strive to create spaces and strengthen the community exchange of non-commercial underground music culture. Balthazar is also the curator of the radio show and event series The Get Down, which he co-hosts with the classic/soulful house legend Mandel Turner at Refuge Worldwide and Paloma in Berlin.
