Cori Nora is an uncompromising singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who crafts music on her own terms. Drawing from a mosaic of influences such as jazz, 70ies pop, folk, alternative rock and improvised music, her sound is deeply intuitive and lives in the in-between: intimate yet expansive, experimental yet grounded in emotion, familiar yet genre-fluid. With a voice that lingers like a late-night conversation and production that bends the rules, Cori Nora is carving out her own corner of the sonic universe—one that doesn’t ask for permission, only presence. With «Kurt Vibe» Cori Nora releases the first single out of the Porto Session and announces her second album «Pleasure and Focus» for october 2025. «Kurt Vibe» is about tuning into your inner voice. Intuition as compass, courage as fuel for the journey into the unknown. Radiating a spirit of departure and brimming with forward energy, Cori Nora recorded the song live with her band at ARDA Recorders in Porto early this year: « For me, writing this song felt like coming home to myself again after having moved a lot over the last six years, living in different cities, places and settings. The music radiates a powerful forward momentum while also conveying the relaxed feeling of being comfortable in one’s own skin.»
