Ny D´Jesus

À propos

Nilton Fernandes, professionally known as NY D’JESUS, is a DJ and producer born in Cape Verde and based in Portugal since 2008. His connection with music began long before electronic music, through Creole rap, where he released tracks, collaborated with other artists, and performed on different stages across Portugal. This early experience allowed him to develop a strong connection with music and, above all, with the audience. In 2014, he had his first contact with the rave scene — an experience that would change the direction of his artistic journey. Inspired by the artists and culture he discovered within this world, he began expanding his knowledge and exploring new sounds. In 2016, he decided to turn his passion for electronic music into an artistic project, officially beginning his journey as a DJ and producer. He started with his first controller and through live streams on social media, quickly gaining strong support from the audience. In 2017, he performed his first live DJ set. Today, NY D’JESUS has developed an identity rooted in Tech House and Techno, combining groove, energy, and influences from his African roots to create an experience designed for the dancefloor. For NY D’JESUS, music goes beyond sound: it is a way of transmitting energy, emotion, and joy. “Bringing joy to people through music… is there a better profession?”
