dj.franco804@gmail.com DJ Frano lives in the Richmond, VA area. He started djing in the Blacksburg / Roanoke, VA area in 2000 assisting with parties and gaining influences by the regular artists that performed there such as Justin Scott Dixon, Sandra Collins and local djs Soulstice, Dougboy and Pressure Point. Franco frequented playing at after parties and fraternity parties for the late night crowd in Blacksburg until 2004. Moving to Richmond, VA, Franco renewed his pursuit for djing and his love of music through friendship with local djs, Jeff McGrath, Tyke and Oliver Caine. Finding his roots in trance and progressive house, Franco has shifted in to different sounds in his playing style since then whether its Tech House, Minimal, Tribal, etc., only focusing on dance music that is important to him. "I'll only play tracks that I truly love and what truly interests me. It's a great success when I play a set and people enjoy the music - to know that I can share something that moves me artistically and musically and at the same time connects to people. A DJ is an artist, someone who creates an environment of sound and leads the listener through a journey of music."
