Kevin Saura isn't one to stand still at the first musical crossroads. On the contrary, he enjoys navigating between aesthetics, combining tradition and modernity, jumping through blues-rock, as on his debut album Dirty Talks (2023), as well as bebop, West Coast jazz, funk, free jazz, and more. Saura's Wes, Miles and Herbie rub shoulders with the Voodoo Child. With his quintet of fine blades, comprising guitarist Aurélien Miguel, bassist Romann Dauneau, percussionist Philippe Ciminato and drummer Félix Joveniaux - “KSG is more of a band than a solo project, because I composed this record with them in mind” - Kevin Saura blazes the trail and digs the furrow of jazz fusion.
