Mariana Hermel is based in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Throughout her more than six years of experience as a DJ, Mariana found in the alternative scene of the city her real passion for electronic music. Mariana likes to explore all sorts of rhythms of the world, rendering a truly sensitive audio experience to her high standard public. Currently, Mariana plays as resident at one of the main labels of the the region, NEUE, performing in an innovative and groovy way which creates a classic and out of time experience for her listeners. NEUE (nói) is a label for itinerant parties in Porto Alegre. With productions in unusual locations and with great attention to aesthetics and light design, the party has been highlighted in the electronic scene in south of Brazil. The project seeks to combine unusual aesthetics and contemporary sound, exploring fundamentally the aspects of Disco and House music. It has already brought important names from the national and international electronic scene such as Mr. Mendel (Netherlands), Esa Williams (South Africa), Ana Helder (Argentina), Eric Duncan (USA), Fett Burger (Norway), Millos Kaiser (Brazil), Bradley Zero (UK), Nicola Cruz (EC), Jamie Tiller (England), and much more. In addition, NEUE was the producer of Porto Alegre edition of the Dutch festival Dekmantel.
