Born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe, and currently residing in Washington DC , Simbai Makwiranzou, known by his artist handle Simbai, is one of the few African electronic music producers in the scene. With a unique approach to his production and songwriting, he manages to create soundscapes and stories within his music that emotionally resonate with his listeners and fans, leaving them with an unforgettable experience every time he releases a new song. With support from the best labels in the industry such as Sony Music, NCS, Cloudkid, Trap Nation, Universal Music, Tribal Trap, Arcadium(The Fat Rat), and Lacuna Records he has started to make a small name for himself and is only just getting started.
