Philou CxC

Philou CxC is a Paris-based DJ, at the head of the music diffusion platform Couvre x Chefs, where he is editor-in-chief, party promoter and label consultant. As the co-founder of Couvre x Chefs (CxC), Philou puts all his passion and energy into serving alternative club scenes from the 4 corners of the planet. Since 2011, he has been helping to put the spotlight on hundreds of artists from all over the world. His DJ sets combine expertise and spontaneity, building bridges between local scenes and provoking unexpected encounters. Particularly fascinated by the movement now known as "Latin Club", of which he was one of the first promoters in France, his mixes, soaked in Global and Deconstructed Club Music, bring together classics and up-and-coming gems from Reggaeton, Dembow, Guaracha, Tribal Guarachero, Brazilian Funk, Dancehall, Shatta, Grime, Jersey Club, Trap, Drill and Kuduro, without ever losing sight of the main objective: to turn the dancefloor upside down. He has performed on leading platforms such as Boiler Room, Drama Radio (MX), Hotel Radio Paris, Ibero 90.9 (MX), NTS, Radio Nova (FR), Reprezent Radio (UK), Rinse France, Thump (Vice)... His DJ sets have found an audience from underground parties to festivals (Delta festival, Hello Birds...), as well as in major clubs (La Machine du Moulin Rouge, La Java...) in France, Mexico and Switzerland. In addition to CxC nights, where he is one of the resident DJs, Philou CxC has been booked alongside key artists such as King Doudou, Yung Beef, Tomasa del Real, Ms Nina, Orgasmic (TTC / Sound Pellegrino), Lao, Loris, Zutzut, DJ Lycox, Nídia (Príncipe), Mad Rey, Bamao Yende (Boukan Records), Amor Satyr, BJF and others.
