French-born and London-based, ultra caro (formerly known as caro♡) is an artist, producer, and singer known for her collaboration with powerhouse cult label <a href="spotify:artist:1rPjmfDQIIm3E0GHKegav8" data-name="PC Music">PC Music</a>, founded by <a href="spotify:artist:335TWGWGFan4vaacJzSiU8" data-name="A. G. Cook">A. G. Cook</a>. A founding member of the neo-shoegaze outfit <a href="spotify:artist:0aoBUiGI5wrK7DOWJAzAKe" data-name="Planet 1999">Planet 1999</a>, Caro — alongside bandmates Charles and Alex — were the first full band signed to PC Music, where they released their debut ‘Devotion’ EP. As Planet 1999, the group also collaborated with <a href="spotify:artist:25uiPmTg16RbhZWAqwLBy5" data-name="Charli xcx">Charli xcx</a> on her album &#39;Charli&#39; and supported labelmate <a href="spotify:artist:3sXErEOw7EmO6Sj7EgjHdU" data-name="Hannah Diamond">Hannah Diamond</a> on her French tour.  Then, Caro launched her solo project, crafting dreamy, experimental soundscapes that blend melancholic synth-pop with haunting beauty. Caro’s self-produced works merge ethereal textures with introspective storytelling, earning her recognition as one of the most innovative voices in the post-hyperpop realm. Her music draws on the landscapes the French Riviera, youthful fantasies, and the delicate balance between optimism and longing.
