NEWIN is one of the rising voices of today’s queer techno scene. As the resident and founder of ESSENCE, he shapes a sonic universe built on tribal percussion, hypnotic layering and raw, driving grooves. His sets unfold like narratives—tension rising, textures evolving, and the dancefloor slipping into a state of elegant, visceral trance. Based between Paris and Southeast Asia, NEWIN stands out for his ability to bridge raw techno, deep hypnotic atmospheres and futuristic hard-groove energy. On stage, his precise rhythmic sense, tactical breaks and percussive architecture form a signature that is instantly recognizable. He has performed at Kilomètre25, Virage, Glazart, Badaboum, as well as across Hanoi, Bangkok and Singapore, and recently reached a new milestone with his appearance on HÖR Berlin, affirming his place within an intense, immersive and emotionally charged techno landscape. Through ESSENCE, NEWIN also develops a broader artistic vision: a platform celebrating queer aesthetics, club culture and a deep, organic, uncompromising sound.
