Zap In The City [Philly]

ZAP is coming to PHILLY on July 18th at Umbria Arts for a one-of-a-kind event featuring 30+ artists throughout a 12-hr celebration focusing on the spirit of DC, Baltimore, and Philly. We are constantly in awe of the endless amount of talented local folks around us, so having the opportunity to embrace the artists home to Philadelphia is a really exciting chance to share in our east coast love + passion for radical joy through DIY music !!! This event has been a big collaboration between Vicarious Love, House of Chicks, and Against the Grain — all collectives that care a lot about using music as a vessel for expression!! Love is the way!! Umbria Arts is a super rad, newer gathering space for creativity in the Manayunk neighborhood. This unique hideaway is nestled perfectly in the heart of what is a working lumberyard. Throughout the 3pm-3am event on Sat. July 18th, there will be three separate stages — one between stacks of beautiful wood, another in the trees, and even one that will have the familiar warehouse feeling we all know and love. Conceived as a place for artists, readers, and neighbors alike, Umbria Arts brings together community, conversation, and curiosity under one roof.
