Blasquez has developed a musical identity shaped by the meeting point between organic musicianship and electronic precision. His relationship with music began long before the DJ booth, through string instruments and his work with both electric and double bass. He played in rock bands and in the string quartet of the Experimental Laboratory at Sesc Consolação, where he studied classical double bass. These experiences helped shape his understanding of rhythm, dynamics, arrangement and composition. His transition into electronic music came naturally in 2004, through experimentation with music production software in his home studio. This process expanded his practice into electronic music production, mixing and audio engineering. In 2006, he began his journey as a DJ. His musical research moves across different territories of electronic music, connecting Future Boogie, NuDisco/Funk, UK Garage, Breakbeat, Downbeat and the various expressions of Jazzy & Funk House. Rather than treating these styles as fixed boundaries, he explores the connections between them through rhythm, groove and movement. Rather than being defined by genres, Blasquez builds his sets around the interplay of groove, texture, rhythm and dynamics. His selections are driven by musicality and momentum, creating evolving sets that keep the dancefloor engaged and in motion.
