DJ Daf has been passionate about electronic music for over 30 years. Starting in the late 90s, he devoted his free time to the rave scene, DJing at "free parties" and performing in various clubs, thereby enriching his musical experience weekend after weekend. After more than a decade of mixing on diverse equipment, Daf moved from the analog world to digital—using software like Traktor, Serato, and VirtualDJ—but in recent years, he has returned to his roots by mixing exclusively on vinyl turntables. Today, he continues his professional evolution while exploring new moods, artists, and sounds. His musical influences are vast, spanning techno, house, deep, minimal, progressive, breakbeat, drum & bass, funk, and hip-hop; Daf knows how to mix any genre that gets the crowd moving to the rhythm of the "groove." Career highlights include launching the "Minimal Rumble REC" label in 2011 with DJ Zell and PY (716), alongside the release of the single "The Beatz," followed by a 2012 collaboration with the French label Oxymor Records for the year-end release of the single "Crazy House." After living and working in Paris for 13 years, he relocated to Montpellier in 2013 in search of new experiences and an atmosphere conducive to his ongoing musical journey. He founded the "Assosud Music Corp" association in 2013 and joined the Southern French collective "Kick Ass Tribe" in 2016—because the music must keep flowing!
