Born and raised in Accra, Ghana, Seattle-based selector Solomon Nutakor aka DJ Nayiram’s journey as a professional DJ kicked off in 2013 with his unique blends of a myriad of Afro Caribbean sounds with rhythms reminiscent of his Ghanaian roots. His sets also cover the Global scene, R&B and HipHop; drawing links and lines between cultures, fusing the familiar with unfamiliar, the popular with underground. For Nayiram, music surpasses genres.
