Hugo Prime is a French DJ and producer based in Paris, driven by a passion for electronic music and a desire to take his audience on an emotional journey. Inspired by the spirit of the '90s rave movement, Hugo has developed a distinctive sound blending rave techno, acid and psy-techno, while increasingly drawing inspiration from the energy and groove of the emerging hardgroove scene. His sets balance hypnotic rhythms, driving grooves, acid-infused textures and emotional tension, creating immersive journeys that seamlessly move between intensity and euphoria. Hugo has performed at renowned Parisian venues including Mia Mao and La Rotonde, as well as at events such as Less Drama More Techno, Jeudi OK and MBT. He is also the curator of the DiX event series by VendrediX Production, a residency hosted at FVTVR Club. Internationally, he has performed at venues including Club Ost (Germany) and Bootshaus (Germany). Drawing inspiration from travels across Europe, North America and Asia, he continues to refine a musical identity rooted in rave culture while embracing contemporary club sounds. In January 2024, Hugo released his debut track on the Less Drama More Techno VA, followed by his first EP later that year. In October 2026, he will release his debut album, Rave System 01, a project showcasing his vision of modern rave music through techno, acid and psy-driven productions. Since September 2026, Hugo has also been the co-founder of Reverse Unit, a Paris-based collective, media platform and event concept dedicated to promoting forward-thinking electronic music through curated events, live streams and immersive audiovisual productions. In 2026, Hugo became a resident artist for Clubbing TV, expanding his reach through professionally broadcast DJ performances to an international audience. Every performance is conceived as a journey, combining exclusive edits, unreleased productions and carefully curated tracks to create powerful, immersive and memorable moments on the dancefloor.
