A Franco-Algerian artist, Dhali Sebie was born in the south of France and grew up in Paris, where he discovered his passion for music. It was in the heart of the French capital that he sharpened his skills at jam sessions, diving into the raw, authentic energy of spontaneous musical encounters. Deeply influenced by the vibrant African and Maghreb rhythms and the softness of folk, the group Laces that he created aspires to blend styles and cultures, creating bridges between sounds and people. A self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Dhali Sebie is not looking for technical perfection in his instruments, but rather to convey an inner energy that can only be fully expressed through music. He plays and produces each of his tracks, infusing each creation with a personal touch greatly influenced by the artists who shaped his musical education.
