Louise Roam is the solo project of French composer, producer and performer Aurélie Mestres. Working at the edge of electro and sound-poetry, she sculpts immersive pieces where silence, field recordings, analog synths (Moog, Prophet) and violin/piano blur into one body. After three EPs (Raptus, Avaton, Stargaze), she returns with her first full-length, Là où passe la nuit, a one-hour traverse of time, dream states and the unseen. Built over four years with granular textures, re-amped environments and a cut-up writing process (sometimes guided by self-hypnosis), the album invites listeners to slow down and step inside their own inner landscape. Live, Louise performs an octophonic concert-performance, placing the audience at the center and dissolving the stage into a moving sound field. First single “A Faint Echo” (Sept 24, 2025) leads to the album release on Feb 6, 2026.
