Massi Heavy A Luxembourg based DJ and producer with more than ten years of experience behind the decks, shaped by years of underground club culture across Europe. Before launching Massi Heavy, Massimo was active with his former project Rec Two, exploring a much harder side of techno and gaining extensive experience across clubs, festivals and larger electronic music events. During this chapter, he shared events and lineups with internationally recognised artists including 999999999, Klangkuenstler, Fatima Hajji, Luca Agnelli, Fernanda Martins, Pappenheimer, Klaudia Gawlas and many more. Massi Heavy represents a new chapter focused on groove, rhythm, emotion and movement. One of the defining moments came at the beginning of the project, when Massi Heavy closed Lenox after Ellen Allien. That night became an important starting point for the new identity and one of the first moments where the Massi Heavy sound was introduced to a wider Luxembourg audience. Since then, Massi Heavy has been regularly active behind the decks and has appeared on events alongside artists including Cleric, Filtrack, Fran LF, Sinergy, Marcal, Pönky and Rare Mamba. The project has already reached three countries, with performances across Luxembourg, Brussels in Belgium and Saarbrücken in Germany. In Saarbrücken, Massi Heavy delivered an extended seven hour set, reflecting his ability to develop a dancefloor over longer formats as well as focused club sets. Beyond performing, Massi Heavy is one of the founders of W4VE Collective and remains actively involved in Luxembourg's electronic music and cultural scene. Over the years, he has collaborated with local artists and established figures including Hugo HP aka NettyHugo, Cich and Klinkenberg, while also working with Luxembourg based collectives, promoters and cultural platforms such as Letz Groove, Wildside and Tanztraum. Influenced by years spent experiencing underground scenes from Berlin and Amsterdam to Paris, Brussels and Luxembourg, his sets are built around one essential element: connection.
