Running @conceptualviolence & Toyz parties Promo and Bookings: Nymedmusic@gmail.com DJ & producer Nymed is a prominent figure in the Parisian Techno scene, known for his exponential growth and unique sound. Originating from the seaside town of Dunkirk in Northern France, his early exposure to electronic music was heavily influenced by the vibrant Belgian and Dutch club scenes. Nymed initiated "Conceptual Violence," a series of parties held in bunkers along the Flemish Coast, repurposing historical sites into venues for celebration and unity. Before the pandemic in 2020, Nymed moved to Paris, where he further developed his music production and DJing skills, quickly becoming a key player in the scene. In 2021, he launched "Toyz," a new event concept aimed at creating safe, inclusive party spaces for the sexually liberated queer community. After a well received first EP on New York’s P.Leone E-Missions recordings label, Nymed came back this year with several releases on Philoxenia, Pornceptual and …Is Serving in 2024. Nymed's musical style is a tribute to 90's techno, distinguished by a straightforward approach to mixing that differentiates him from his contemporaries. His work is celebrated for its hypnotic, sensual qualities, incorporating trippy melodies and sexually charged rhythms. As a result, Nymed has garnered a strong following, performing at renowned French queer events and international venues like Berghain, Faust (Seoul), Pawnshop (Taipei) or Paragon (NYC).
