Born and raised in China, Raeya’s love affair with electronic music began when she arrived in Switzerland in 2016. Gradually, raving to the beautiful tunes of house music and techno became an irreplaceable romantic experience, sparking the beginning of her professional career. Since her debut as a Switzerland-based artist, Raeya has been curating unique musical experiences reflecting her creative roots in Chinese music, poetry and culture. With infectious energy and dedication to high-quality tunes, she showcases a distinctive mixing style, seamlessly blending diverse electronic music genres encompassing high-energy house, techno and trance. This quickly earned her a unique presence and multiple residencies in the night scene of Switzerland. Raeya’s rapid growth has led her to the stages of top electronic music venues across Europe and Asia, such as Oil Club (Shenzhen, China), Oxi Club (Berlin, Germany), Tempio del Futuro Perduto (Milan, Italy), Lightbox (London, UK) and Audio Club (Geneva, Switzerland), playing alongside internationally renowned artists such as FJAAK, MALAA, Matt Sassari, Will Clarke. As a pioneering Chinese artist pushing the boundaries of electronic music in Europe, Raeya continues to develop a vast and engaged community through her own event concept MÉI experiences (@meiexperiences).
