Originally from Bordeaux and now based in Paris, GRAY shaped his musical identity through the dancefloors and underground scene of his hometown. Cutting his teeth at Bordeaux’s iconic IBOAT, he has shared lineups with artists such as Hector Oaks, Lolsnake, Vel and CAIVA, experiences that have helped shape his approach to DJing and his connection with the dancefloor. Rooted in techno but never confined to a single sound, GRAY draws inspiration from a wide musical spectrum, from raw, hypnotic rhythms and textured grooves to the warmth of house and the progressive energy of trance. Rather than following a particular genre, his approach is guided by feeling, movement and storytelling. Playing with tension and release, subtle transitions and unexpected turns, he builds evolving sets where groove remains the common thread. For GRAY, it’s less about defining a sound than creating a journey, one that moves naturally between depth, energy and emotion, always with the dancefloor at its heart.
