Named a Future Talent of 2025 in Ibiza by the Pete Tong DJ Academy, Los Angeles based KAYA (aka Jean-Philippe Kaya) skillfully merges his background in classical piano and film scoring with a passion for DJing and producing electronic music. Hailing from Bordeaux, France, with parents from Cameroon and Congo, KAYA draws from a diverse tapestry of influences to craft his signature sound. Since learning how to DJ during the pandemic, KAYA's seamless blend of melodic and afro tech house has led him across North America and Europe sharing the decks with Pete Tong, HUGEL, Joel Corry, deadmau5, MEDUZA, Kaleena Zanders, KREAM, SNBRN, Todd Edwards, A-Trak and others. With releases on Ultra Records, Groove Bassment, and most recently Speed Dial Records, KAYA's top tracks have played on international radio stations including SiriusXM Diplo's Revolution and Miami's renown Revolution 93.5FM. On stage, his music has been heard at Glastonbury, Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Beyond Wonderland, and Electric Forest. Dedicated to his craft, KAYA continues to hone his skills both in the studio and on stage, building his brand one fan at a time.
