Born from the meeting of his Belgian and Malagasy roots, MAKII makes music that doesn't choose, it blends. His Malagasy heritage awakened in him a deep need to bridge the cultures he comes from, turning that dual identity into a creative force. His sound revolves around a powerful, groove-driven house, shaped by Afro, Latin and disco influences. Far from sticking to a single register, he crafts music where African percussions, Latin rhythms and disco energy collide naturally, always guided by one purpose: making people move. Resident at Society, MAKII is a well-rooted figure in the Brussels electronic scene. His sets have taken him across multiple countries, sharing the booth with key artists from his circuit, building a reputation that travels well beyond Brussels.
