Queen Willow is founded by singer-songwriter and guitarist Léo Doublé (Supermoon, Mimosa), joined by singer and keyboardist Léa Brianceau (Lea Giulian), singer and drummer Neige ([OHM] , Baïne), and Bassist Sacha Guyon (La Loma, Amelast ...) Between ecological tales and realists portraits, the singing of Léo Doublé gives voices to human and nature with modesty. He takes from Chet Baker the sweetness and from Thom Yorke the sincerity and harmonies. The wide color range of the four musicians from Nantes (FR) is reminiscent of Sufjan Stevens ’s Folk and Patrick Watson’s cinematographic music. Through this voice and plain harmonies, a succession of little stories : a half-silent old man, a chased rabbit, a burning mountain and a millenial tree… Texts become fables about nature fading, harrassment and toxic relationships, dreams and invading thoughts, and acceptance of death. Queen Willow’s upcoming first album "Restful Tales of thé Shapeless Seasons" was recorded by Neige in their personnal studios Le Cabanon and Le Terrier, recording space of their collective (Geoffrey Le Goaziou, Neige, [OHM], Amelast, Basic Partner, Modern Honk).
