In A.L.A.E’s sets and productions lies the imprint of an era when techno was lived as an act of resistance. A spiritual heir to the 90s, he draws inspiration from the industrial rigor of Birmingham (Surgeon, Regis), the visionary activism of Detroit (Underground Resistance), and the acid-electro madness of Den Haag (Bunker Records). Behind the decks, A.L.A.E navigates across all shades of techno while asserting a dark, brutal, and retrofuturistic aesthetic. As a resident in Marseille (Cabaret Aléatoire, Baby Club) and Casablanca (Vanity), with regular appearances in Paris (Glazart), he has defended this vision since 2015 alongside international icons such as Ellen Allien, Zadig, Ben Sims, Surgeon, DVS1, and Perc. His sets unfold as narratives, built on carefully mastered tension: relentless grooves, acidic lines, and dystopian atmospheres merge into a total sonic journey. In the studio, he sculpts a sound both organic and metallic, where each texture resonates with the collective memory of rave culture. His first releases on the French label After O’Clock records reflects his love for Techno diversity. Beyond his own path, A.L.A.E contributes to the vitality of the underground scene through the Paradox podcast series and artist agency, as well as the Moroccan raised French based label Sotor, which he co-founded. For him, techno is more than a musical genre: it is a culture, a platform, and a boundless field of experimentation.
