When we realize that this Senegalese singer and bass virtuoso, was asked by Marcus Miller to record on Miller's 2015 album ‘Afrodeezia’ – that is when we know we're in for something special! At the age of 18, the talent of Alune Wade was sought by Ismaël Lô. Over the years, he has performed and recorded with a galaxy of contemporary music legends, from Salif Keita and Joe Zawinul to Bobby McFerrin, Archie Shepp, Fatoumata Diawara, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Bela Fleck, Cheick Tidiane Seck, Oumou Sangaré, Paco Sery, Deep Forest and Gregory Porter to mention a few.
