BLUEMARIA is an amorphous musical entity. Their music is a visceral trip into the depths of a world that seems to swallow everything in its wake, constantly bending between loud, oppressive walls of sound and delicate moments of escape. The group’s sound centres around energetic performances and dynamic song structures that take the listener on a journey, blending influences such as Radiohead, Wolf Alice and Alt J. Having spent time recording at Studio 33 Rec, BLUEMARIA is gearing up for their first release cycle. Their debut single VICTORIOUS encapsulates the sounds and stories the band is telling, expressing deep-seated desire to find solace and escape the menial routine of modern-day livelihood.
