DJ D.M.X. is David Mangum, a Denver DJ and founder of the 303 Collective, established in 1996. Behind the decks since 1986, he draws from house, UK garage, 2-step, breaks and drum & bass, with one constant: anything with soul. His history includes residencies at Beta, The Church, Vybe, The Black Box, Larimer Records Café and Fort Collins’ Element, plus an appearance at the 2004 USA Love Parade in San Francisco. Rooted in the sounds of the ’90s and early 2000s, D.M.X. brings decades of digging and dance-floor experience to every set. His approach is instinctive: follow the groove, read the room and give people a reason to stay.
