T-Bone / Coffee Jim 2019 : Kenya. T-Bone, being a show producer, got invited in a festival in Nairobi. The after party took place in the hypest club of the city. Amazing place, beautiful ladies, great athmoshere.. ; the DJ played mostlty occidental music and he started a 2 hours set of electro music (David Guetta, Avicii...). People loved it. Enjoying this fun time, T-Bone noticed that no electro performed that night contained african sounds . Eureka ! He decided to create it. Mixing 50/50 Afro and Electro and named this future style, Afrotek ! 2020 : France. T-bone met musician and beatmaker Coffee Jim and offered him to join into the project. Both swallowed tons of african music, melodies, rythms. They also learn about African culture. Same for electro music and its various genres. While listening all this material, T-Bone got already an artistic vision and decided to produce an EP under Anthezic Records label. 2021 : France. T-bone built a recording studio in downtown Paris. African musicians were invited to record guitares riffs, bass lines, percussions rythms, kora, kalimba, balafon, etc... Congo, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Mali, Senegal, Mandingue Music, Burundi, Nigeria, South Africa and more countries are amazing influences. Meanwhile, T-Bone and Coffee Jim started to develop and compose their lectro sound, and as cooking chefs do, mixed both music together. Ethno Burst was born ! And so was the Afrotek . Note:T-Bone and Coffee Jim wear traditional masks from West Cameroon in respect and tribute to african culture and traditions whom they get all their inspirations to create this tribal but very actual music.
